Professional Mikron button presses complete with fabric cutters & dies, ideal for making upholstery buttons. Use the drop down menu to select from the D-1 or Tep-2 press. D-1 Press is a solid press, with a twist handle. TEP-2 press is slightly lighter weight with a pull down handle. Both presses accept the same die set. The presses will cut just a few layers of fabric at once, but if you need to cut many layers at same time you will need a heavier duty fabric press (see other listings). These presses need to be securely fitted to a work bench with the screws provided. Select which button size you require. 24, 30, 36 or 44, and whether you require loop backs or nail backs. The button components are made from non-rust alloy, and suitable for use in upholstery, soft furnishings, cushions, caravan & boat interiors etc. The nail backs are serrated so offer a more secure fixing than other type nail backs.

Finally select if you want the Teflon cutting block. The cutters can be used with the press and Teflon block. How to use the Button Press.

The pin inserts into the base of the press, with the spring fitted on top, then the loop or nail back is added, the fabric is then placed onto the top part of the die & the button mould/shell pushed in. Place the top part of the die on top of the bottom part, then pull handle, this will for the button. Please Note : These presses & button parts are manufactured in Europe & made to a high standard, please do not confuse for cheap Chinese button parts.
